#6- George Lazenby

Picture
He was only in one film, but I didn’t think he came close to getting the character right. He tried to make it more a different kind of charm then Connery but seemed to play it too “calm.” Also we was didn’t look believe able in the action scenes. This and the film was just a big swing and a miss.

#5- Roger Moore

Picture
Yes, he was in the most Bond films then any other actor, but I don’t know if it was him or the films but he just didn’t do anything special with the character and almost made it a joke after a while. He did have the charm but he made the action scenes just plain silly and felt that he needed a goofy reaction during any intense action scene. But I will give him credit for holding onto the role for as long as he did.

#4- Timothy Dalton

Picture
Didn’t last long as Bond but I actually didn’t mind him that much, he was lacking in the charm department but really did step up the action. However he just wasn’t that well rounded as a Bond.

#3- Pierce Brosnan

Picture
The top 3 is really hard to decide, I though all 3 were very well rounded and showed good depth but Pierce just didn’t make it his own, but based it off of good elements from previous actors. He still did a great job playing the role until the series got stale and decided to reboot.

#2- Daniel Craig

Picture
He is new to the scene but what he has done with the character is pretty amazing. He has finally shown the audience true depth with taking some elements from Connery and making it his own. He has made the character seem real as we see Bond’s transition into become the hero that we all know and love.

#1- Sean Connery

Picture
It’s hard to not pick this guy as the number 1 Bond actor, he is the original Bond and everyone after him based the character off of his portrayal. He is exactly how a Bond should be; great charm and he can kick your ass. He was the first one do to it and when you picture James Bond you can’t help but think of Sean Connery. He really is the best Bond.
